s_vakharia_lgSarah Vakharia is a nationally certified school psychologist who has worked in a variety of urban and rural school settings in the Cincinnati area.  As a school psychologist, she has taken a leadership role in training staff and supporting district-wide implementation of Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS) and the Response to Intervention (RtI) model.  She has worked with Successful Schools, Inc. for several years in coaching school-based teams on PBIS, assessment and data based decision-making, alternatives to suspension and the Response to Intervention model.  In addition, she has taught online courses through Successful Schools, Inc. on school-wide behavior supports, targeted behavior supports, intensive behavior supports and writing effective IEPs.

Sarah Vakharia attended the University of Cincinnati school psychology program where she earned her Masters of Education degree in 2005 and her Educational Specialist degree in 2006.  Her graduate work focused on implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), the Response to Intervention model and school-wide Positive Behavior Intervention Supports at a school-wide and district-wide level.
