l_ling-fowler_lgLisa Ling is a nationally certified school psychologist with experience in urban settings. For five years, she worked as a school psychologist for Cincinnati Public Schools and took a leadership role implementing school-wide Positive Behavior Support (PBS) systems and Response to Intervention (RtI) frameworks at a school and district level. Lisa also served as an active member of the district-level crisis committee and helped develop a district crisis response plan and train support staff to serve as crisis responders on the Critical Incident Stress Manaagement (CISM) team.

In the summer of 2008, Lisa moved to New York City, where she now works as the Education Training Director for AHRC NYC’s school-age programs for children with Autism at Brooklyn Blue Feather Elementary School and the Brooklyn AHRC Middle/High School. Her areas of focus are curriculum improvement and behavior support initiatives. In addition, other areas of special interest include school-wide early literacy intervention programming, systems change, functional behavior assessment, and grief counseling.

Lisa graduated summa cum laude from Ohio Wesleyan University in a B.A. in psychology an English, and then earned her Master’s degree in school psychology at the University of Cincinnati in 2002.
