Gina White is currently a middle school special education teacher in the mid-Hudson Valley. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Fordham University and completed a Master of Professional Studies Program in 1997 at Manhattanville College, becoming dually certified in Elementary Education and Special Education. She has worked in special education settings at both the elementary and middle school levels and is experienced in differentiation and direct instructional techniques in teaching reading and writing to students with various learning disabilities. In addition, a recent focus on behavioral management strategies led her to complete Levels 1 & 2 of PBIS Team Training Workshops with Rob March. Gina is currently a PBIS coach for her school, directly involved in developing, implementing and maintaining a school-wide PBIS plan.
